We have a lot of good ideas hanging around.

Mine aren't all together yet, but they're coming together nicely. This is where I'll list the "masterpiece" ideas. It should be something like a library like a blog. We'll explore philosophical subjects such as compassion and truth, social and environmental subjects such as recycling, education, science, politics, economics and cultural issues from all times and places...

My favourite ideas are here, of course. I am not "New Age" - there's much more to me than that - but I think some of the best ideas are these: "Peace, Love and Light", "Protect, Include and Celebrate" and "Faith, Hope and Love", and where would we be without "Rights and Responsibilities?"

The Big Idea: Peace, Love and Light:
The General Idea: In a nutshell, the "peace" and "love" have been in my signature in correspondence for probably almost 20 years. My feeling is that these are the most precious things to enjoy in life and represent true blessings. "Light" was added long ago after sharing some ideas with my friend Chantal Jolly, and represents both the natural joys of light to those who can enjoy it, but also to a theme of enlightenment, as I believe that enlightenment is a natural pursuit of humankind that is most gratifying and should be encouraged." The theme of "Peace, Love and Light" is accompanied by those of "Protect, Include and Celebrate" and "Faith, Hope and Love."

	The Big Idea: Protect, Include and Celebrate
	The General Idea: To "protect, include and celebrate" has become my personal mantra and a "meaning" for life in general. I believe the phrase addresses the work of social services as well as what one would hope for from a family. It addresses what is needed by human kind and ultimately what is most desired, for each of us to be safe, a part of the whole and recognized for our contributions." The theme of "Protect, Include and Celebrate" is accompanied by those of "Peace, Love and Light" and "Faith, Hope and Love."

The Big Idea: Faith, Hope and Love
The General Idea: I have come to believe that human kind can draw spiritual strength from three sources, and these are "faith, hope and love." Remember, though, that each of these three great blessings can in it's own right be be strong in both spiritual and practical ways. If you don't believe me: "Three things will last forever�faith, hope, and love�and the greatest of these is love." 1 Corinthians 13. I'm just coming at from personal experience. The theme of "Faith, Hope and Love" is accompanied by those of "Peace, Love and Light" and "Protect, Include and Celebrate"

	The Big Idea: Rights and Responsibilties
	The General Idea: On this site, I describe that there are primary themes for a "meaning of life" for myself (and perhaps for others.) These are: "Peace, Love and Light," "Protect, Include and Celebrate," and "Peace, Love and Light." All of these things are somehow precious, I believe, but are not rights. On a practical level, "rights" are earned by serving one's "responsibilities." This is how to get good things done!

The Big Idea: The Pit Of Bullshit
The General Idea: Lies are our enemy. The majority of human effort is wasted for the sole reason of having been mis-directed by a false perception of truth. It is critical to explore new ground, especially as our species struggles to maintain a safe and decent environment, but also to appreciate the lessons of history and allow passion to be guided by impartial reason toward a greater good.

	The Big Idea: The Spreadsheet For The Meaning Of Life
	The General Idea: My goodness, what can I say about this one? What can't I say?y The Spreadsheet For The Meaning Of Life is my graphic representation of my reasonale idea of whatever meaning there is or might be in life. It promotes love, initiative and creativity, personal responsibility other good things whilst considering some of the limitations that human kind faces, depending upon their circumstances. I think this is actually pretty comprehensive, but there are many nuances here. In the longer-term, I've imagined that I could perhaps turn this into a game of sort with varying themes geared to teach people life skills in varying scenarios, or just for fun. The Big Idea: The Wobbly Wheel Theory
The General Idea: Think of the myriad aspects of "mental health" as being represented by spokes on a wheel. It is important to note that each of us has spokes longer here and shorter there, and is therefore a "wobbly wheel." Sometimes, a certain spoke-length is well suited to a certain role, either by luck or character, and so certain wheels wobble in such a way as to flourish. For instance,

	The Big Idea: The Brad Pitt Theory
	The General Idea: If Brad Pitt got paid 10% of what he gets paid now but otherwise had the same rewards, he'd still do what he does, and so would almost everybody else. Therefore, financial gain is not his only motivation, and nor is it for anybody else. The good news is that if we pay the talented and rich people less, they'll probably actually do something more worthwhile, and the big house on the hill will be smaller and cost less.

The Big Idea: The Volkswagon Bug Theory
The General Idea: If you've got one, you'll see them everywhere. I presume we are attuned to these symbols, like war paint and tribal costume, as we are attuned to tribal thinking. Mob mentality is a risk, but a sense of belonging is a fundamental requirement.

The Big Idea: Patience Is A Virtue
The General Idea: Life is not perfect. Patience is required. Perhaps more than almost any other virtue, patience will get you through hard times and dull times alike.

	The General Idea: Remember, whatever it is that makes life worthwhile may not be obvious at every given moment, but it can be remembered and it can be again, and on dark days and bright days, we can wait patiently for the butterflies... The Big Idea: Doing The Best We Can Do
The General Idea: People are nor perfect. Patience is required. Remember that no matter how bad a plan that other person has come up with, that is the best they can do in that moment. Most of the time, people just want to be heard, to feel safe and to feel a welcome member of their tribe. If you think there's a better idea, you can try to help.
